Cartography is a powerful tool for analysing a territory, which is also crucial for the conservation and enhancement of geodiversity.
The maps of the Carnic Alps Geopark provides a database that collects all the geological emergencies of the cross-border area.
The Geopark’s static maps can be downloaded in PDF format below. These maps provide an overview of the Geopark area and can also be printed in a large format (A1).
For a more in-depth consultation, it is possible to consult the Geopark WebGIS. Through the WebGIS it is possible to access the territorial information at different scales, run queries, overlap several layers of information and create custom tables for printing.
The data can also be downloaded and consulted using the most common GIS software (Qgis, uDig, ArcMap, GeoMedia etc.) using the WMS and WFS services.
